Thank you to all who joined us Saturday, April 29 for the Family House Gala 2023, “All You Need Is Love!” Family House raised close to $1 million thanks to the incredible generosity of this community. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your compassion and for the outpouring of love for CEO Alexandra Morgan, who is retiring this year. Alexandra’s 22 years of leadership have transformed Family House, from 10 rooms on Irving Street, to a five-story, 80-bedroom facility in Mission Bay just blocks from UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Proceeds from Saturday night’s event enable us to continue our mission—to provide temporary housing, meals, and amenities for families of children with cancer and other serious illnesses, with deep compassion and care, always 100% free of charge for families.
