A Sweet Summer Treat with Okta

Yesterday, the kids and families at Family House enjoyed a delicious afternoon of fun, thanks to an ice cream social hosted by volunteers from Okta!

Our second-floor south kitchen turned into a sundae station, complete with scoops of strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and fudge swirl ice cream — plus dairy-free frozen treats so everyone could join in on the fun. Topping choices were a dream: gummy bears, crushed Oreos, sprinkles, chocolate and caramel sauces, and whipped cream made for the ultimate custom creations.

The Okta team went above and beyond, not only serving up sweet treats but also handing out ice cream-themed stickers and backpacks filled with school supplies to get our kids excited for the upcoming school year.

It was a joyful, laughter-filled afternoon, and we’re so grateful to the Okta volunteers for bringing smiles and sweets to Family House!
