Family House Inaugural Golf Tournament: Golf With Heart

In partnership with Touchstone Golf, Family House San Francisco hosted their Inaugural Golf Tournament, ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਗੋਲਫ਼, on Friday, May 16, at Tilden Park Golf Course in Berkeley, CA. The tournament was sold out, and surpassed the fundraising goal, raising $110k for families with children facing cancer or another life-threatening illnesses receiving treatment at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. The golf tournament was full of fun, games, and support for families who need it most. There was a Bloody Mary bar and breakfast tacos provided by Early Bird Tacos to start the day, a special family attended and shared their story of staying at Family House while their son Sebastian had open-heart surgery at 6 months old, and Family House Young Professionals Council members hosted a “YPAC Hole” with a specialty cocktail and games for golfers. Lunch and drinks were served on the course, and a Happy Hour with appetizers, drinks, prizes, and a short program commenced after play was done. Because of you, our first golf tournament was a major success to support the families we serve.
