The gorgeous colors, cozy scents, and nostalgia-inducing vibe of the season will inspire you and your kids to create something wonderful.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fall Crafts and Activities For This Season\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

At Family House, we celebrate different seasons in full swing. Remember when we made the most <\/span>beautiful butterflies to celebrate spring<\/span><\/a>?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are looking for fun, creative, and easy fall crafts to make this fall fun for your kids, then look no further than these fall tissue trees. With these trees, welcome the new season in the most festive and decorative way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What You Will Need<\/span><\/h2>\n

For this activity, you’ll need:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Pre-printed cardstock with tree<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Pre-cut tissues<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Paper plate<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Scissors (to cut the tissue more, if wanted)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Pen, pencil, or marker<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Elmer’s glue\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Instructions for Tissue Trees\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Once you’ve gathered all of your art supplies, you’re ready to create a beautiful fall tree to display at home.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Step 1:<\/b> Pour a large dollop of glue onto the paper plate. You can either find a printable tree or draw your own!<\/span><\/p>\n

    Step 2:<\/b> Select a piece of tissue paper. Take out the marker, pencil, or pen and turn it upside down. Take the tissue you selected, place it on the bottom of the marker\/pencil\/pen, and wrap it down and around it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    Step 3:<\/b> Dip the tissue-wrapped marker\/pencil\/pen in the glue and place it on the pre-printed tree. Lift the marker\/pencil\/pen \u2014 the tissue will remain and adhere to the paper.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Note<\/b>: Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you get the desired “fullness” of the “foliage” on the tree.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Step 4<\/b>: After you create your fall tissue trees, allow the glue to dry thoroughly, then hang it on a window, the fridge, or wherever guests can see your masterpiece!<\/span><\/p>\n
