Founded in 1981, and led by an exceptionally dedicated board and staff, Family House is a home away from home for families of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses being treated at UCSF Benioff Children&#8217;s Hospital who live more than 50 miles away.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div\n\t\t\t\tclass=\"block--core-paragraph\">\n\t\n<p>Located in Mission Bay, Family House sustains a nearly 100% occupancy with 80 rooms for families in a five-story, LEED certified building, housing almost 320 people a night.
