The Family House 41st Annual Gala will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at The Fairmont, San Francisco. Our annual gala is a special celebration of our CEO, Alexandra Morgan, who will retire at the end of this year. The party will feature a festive cocktail reception, gourmet dinner with amazing wines, a finely curated live auction, plus live music by Beatles tribute band The Sun Kings, and so much more. Get dressed up in your favorite \u201960s fashion and support Family House.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\t\n

Since 1981, so much has changed for Family House. What started as ten rooms on Irving Street, run entirely by volunteers with an annual operating budget of under $200,000 has grown into a five-story, 80-bedroom facility in Mission Bay that can house more than 250 people per night. Now with a staff of more than 25 employees, Family House has been a haven for more than 60,000 families while their child is undergoing treatment for cancer or another life-threatening illness.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\t\n

This year\u2019s theme, All You Need is Love, is a phrase that\u2019s integral to our mission. All event proceeds will fund direct services provided to our families, including temporary housing, meals and amenities for families with a child being treated for cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. All services are offered 100% free of charge for more than 4,000 kids and family members each year, thanks to generous donor support.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\t\n
