With the temperature slowly rising, it’s the perfect time to get creative with super easy and wonderful spring crafts for kids of all ages. For our spring activity, we are making pipe cleaners butterflies. These have to be the prettiest things we have ever made from pipe cleaners.

Things You Will Need

Our butterfly spring craft uses all the common materials that you will have at home. Are you ready to get started? Here is a list of all the things you will need to make your butterfly.

Pipe cleaners
Paints
Paintbrushes
Colorful markers
Coffee Filters

Let’s Make Our Butterfly

Now that you have gathered all the materials required let’s start making our beautiful butterfly.

First, take the coffee filter and spread it out into a circle.
Now is the time to get creative. Take your paintbrush and start painting your coffee filter. Be as artistic as you want.
Use your markers to draw different patterns. Again, there are no rules, so you can be as imaginative as you want.
When you are done painting and drawing, let your butterfly rest.
Now, take a pipe cleaner and twist it around the center of the butterfly to make wings, body, and feelers.
Your pipe cleaner butterfly is ready. You can use it to decorate your room or paste it on your wall. This spring craft is also the perfect gift for someone special.
